Drew A. Rini - Owner, Designer
Drew is a graduate of The Ohio State University, with a Bachelors of Science in Landscape Architecture, and a minor in Landscape Horticulture. He has over a decade of professional design and construction experience throughout Northeast Ohio and Denver, Colorado. Drew has extensive experience with creating xeric landscape and low impact design. He specializes in designing and constructing backyard retreats, outdoor kitchens and barbecues, complete with rock walls, fire pits, patios, water features and planting beds.

the story behind Down to Earth . . .
After relocating from Cleveland, Ohio to Denver, Colorado, Drew spent several years with various companies specializing in a variety of landscape, design, and architecture. In his first position, he started out as a foreman in the field and soon after moved up to designer and project manager. While he was learning a lot from his mentors and employers, he just felt that something was missing. Drew has always had a strong work ethic and the drive to succeed. He is always challenging himself to create an economical and functional solution to an already existing problem. In 2010, Drew decided he was ready to take the plunge and immediately put his vision onto paper and started drawing up the plans and "planting the seed" for his own company. By Spring of 2011, Down to Earth Designs LLC (DTE) was born. Down to Earth Designs mission has never waivered. They are here to focus on the needs of its clients and take advantage of the unique landscape that Colorado has to offer.
From the inception of Down To Earth Designs they have remained focused on the individual needs and wants of their clients, all while minimizing the impact on the local environment. As Colorado residents, we see that over time water is quickly becoming more scarce during the warmer months. Down to Earth Designs aims to minimize excessive water usage whenever possible. With a focus on the landscape around us, DTE use local and native plant life and to "bring back nature to their home." In addition plan landscape design and installation, DTE has a passion for outdoor living and comfort. They can create this environment in your very own backyard with a variety of options; including but not limited to: patios, fire pits (with sitting areas), BBQS, full kitchens and more.
